True Lavender. (lavender or English lavender, common lavender, narrow-leaved lavender)

Lavandula angustifolias is a flowering plant in the family native to the western Mediterranean, primarily the Pyrenees and other mountains in northern Spain.

Hardy in zones 5-8 but can survive winters in zone 4 if mulched or grown in a south facing location. 

Grows well in containers and makes an excellent dried flower for arrangements and sachets.

Lavender is often used in cooking and herbal oils and salves.
